    I don't think anyone can really answer this question,
    What is wrong with where you live now?
    I love where I live, I can get out on a scooter, I can drive to a shopping centre and take my scooter with me.
    Do wish i could scoot to a beach though.

    are you thinking of moving house I wonder....?

    I reckon a bungalow where it's flatish, but not too isolated or cold! Some peopel swear theyare better on holiday in hot countries!

    Are you talking region, town or actual accommodation? It's a rather vague question, matildawilson, but I will have a bash: I currently live in a three-storeyed Victorian mid-terrace which does not have stair lift-friendly stairs. I want, nay even need, a bungalow, but the thought of moving and all that entails induces a feeling of utter terror. My arthritis usually affects my sacro-iliac joints, my knees, ankles and toes, hence the stairs being a trial. DD

    Hi if you mean where abouts in the country . My brother lives in devon he moved there 12years ago . He does suffer from arthritis and says it is much better since he moved from lancashire . I suffer with arthritis but can't move i love lancashire. You dont say where you live so perhaps you already live in the best place.
    People always say it is better in warm places so somewhere where the sun shines could be better. ............jilly

    I think warmer climes are better for OAers but for the rest of us the weather is immaterial - well, it is for me. DD (who has PA)

    I am quite happy with Middlesex as I get good care all round with friendly, caring staff in the rheumatology department.

    I love Lancashire too, can't beat the damp and cold weather - only joking, I would not trade my view of Pendle Hill, all mean and moody.
    I have lived abroad, in hot dry climates, damp climates, none seem to make a difference but you cannot beat a bungalow, no stairs means a lot.

    I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
