Why oh why does nobody phone back when they say they will? A head teacher phones the other week to offer me work untill the summer, unfortunately i was on 3 weeks sick leave at the time and he said he would phone if he managed to fine someone else but if he couldnt then the work was mine. I phoned this am and guess what job gone. Why didnt he do as he said and phone and tell me! Is it just me or is this becoming increasingly more common, people not doing as they say? I have got some supply work full time next week but had to rant! :x

That is a shame Sea monkey. It is not fair to mess you around and get your hopes up.
We are waiting for someone to phone us back too but they didn't. Such a nuisance and to phone them it costs cos they keep you on a long hold.

What a shame you have been waiting for some one too. So maddening isnt it. I would feel so bad if i told someone i would do something and then didnt bother.

Hi Seamonkey, Ellizabeth... I have been waiting for the OT to ring me back since last thursday... I need a new wrist splint as mine has totally worn through... I needed both last time and left that message for her but she only sent a right hand one, lol....
I am waiting to see if she does phone back.. If not I will ring again tomorrow..

Tad annoying though eh?

Well I'm quite happy at the minute, just had my xrays done on my knees, sat on a bench waiting for the neighbour to pick me up, the sun is shining and it's quite warm now! Birds are sin ging...
Doing my very best to ignore the pulsing pains that are getting ever stronger in the knees

I know how you feel. I was referred to Rheumatology last year never heard a thing (for a year) and only 2 weeks ago when I went about the pain in my elbow again, I was told I had to be seen by physio AGAIN!, I wasnt informed of it or even put forward for any physio by them or my GP. I'm so infuriated (so is my mum) as I've had to deal with the pain for the past year and because of it I ended up burning myself with deep heat spray

Sometimes there is a good reason, so I always ask politely for an explanation. If a genuine one is not forthcoming complete with apology, then I phone their boss and chew a chunk out of them.

People soon remember after that.
