The funniest thing has just happened....involving my oil!!!

I just looked out my window and see hoses being pulled out of my garden...i wondered what the heck was happening(i rather hoped it was some gorgeous firemen!)....Next thing i knew there was a knock at the door and an oil tank driver giving me a reciept for 500 litres of oil :shock: which was rather a surprise as we hadnt ordered any!!!it was all paid for and what made it even more amusing was it was two doors downs oil and we cant stand her shes one of those one upmanship kind of people a hyacinth bucket!Anyway not sure whats going to happen now...knowing our luck it will be nicked tonight :lol:

    Even more amusing...the company has just phoned us and said it would cost them money to take it out of our tank.(what idiots to tell us that)...so we bartered and they offered it to us cheap,this woman paid over £300 for it.....we have paid £190 :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Ah ha not toast but chocolate and orange muffins(ive been baking) are on offer to the oil guards!!i wont be able to sleep tonight now i will be busy watching my discount oil :lol:

    Never fell off my chair laughing when i read this thread. Ummm now do you tell her how much you paid for it just to really rub it in???? Don't stay up to late waiting your oil..

    Oh please get someone to take a picture for me.....i would go down the god i am so sorry to hear that you are low on oil. Do you have enough??? We got a great deal on our oil.....how much do you pay.......NO really....
    Hope you have a lock on your tank so they cannot borrow any???

    Lupin i see hyacinth yesterday, apparently she had paid £350 for it,i made a show of not wanting to tell her how much we had paid but of course i was forced to tell her in the end.......her face was a picture :lol: ...its strange how every street or village has a hyacinth ...it certainly was a good feeling to have the upper hand for once mawhaha

    was thinking about you today - saw the gas meter reader man creeping up the path wanted to throw things at him and shout 'get off my land" but because i'm such a nice person :lol: just said 'morning bit cold isn't it".

    shall be sat waiting for the thud through the letter box when my great big heavy gas bill arrives - actually should be ok this time as my boiler wasn't working all over christmas!!

    Well if it does happen again hopefully we will be the lucky ones again!!she shops with occado gets it delivered(only the best for her) i might go out there and swap the house numbers around :lol::lol:
