A Royal Eggstravaganza

My grand-daughter, Emily, aged 8, has made this model of the Royal wedding, complete with eggs decorated as William and Kate, for a competition at school. They are on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, waving to the crowds.

I know I'm biased, but I think it's pretty good. Maybe she's been a bit generous with the hair on William though :grin:

    Good luck Emily I am sure that is a winner.

    Emily has done well there joan,it is brilliant. I remember lisa (our daughter) having to do painted eggs too. and one year she won a prize.

    Thanks for your replies, Val, Coco, Tinks and Julie. The only help Emily had was advice on how to get the box to stand up because when she put the eggs on the balcony, the weight made it topple over. She had to find a way to weight it down, and eventually she put a big stone from the garden inside it. Hey presto :!: It worked :!: :lol: Now I'm just hoping that she's got it to school in one piece.

    Thanks Barbara. Emily is a clever and beautiful little redhead, and I'm very proud of her. I will certainly give her a big hug from you.
