amitriptyline 10mg with tramadol

Hi wonder if i would be taking a tramadol and paracetamol with amitriptyline 10mg just for today? I have done my back in and in a great deal of pain but just need to get through this evening and get to the doctors tomorrow.

    Hi, have you tried speaking to a pharmacist, NHS direct or an out of hours gp for advice. They will be able to advise you!!

    Dear Lupin,

    Sorry to hear about your back. I'm afraid we are not allowed to give a direct answer about the medications, but if you were prescribed them then NHS Direct 0845 4546 would be able to put your mind at rest.

    If you are in a lot of pain you might find using alternating hot then cold pads helpful (ie hot water bottle, then frozen peas wrapped in towel.
