Surely the smoking process would already have cured the garlic and adding more tastes, they would overcome each other, they are all strong aromas, of course, adding vinegar is another form of curing/preserving.
I might buy plain garlics and add the tastes to the vinegar and just preserve the smoked ones with vinegar?
You could always use a small bit of each in your cooking. I can almost taste the smoked garlic, I love it raw! Let us know how you get on.0
