Hi,
Just got back this afternoon......I mentioned in another thread about being sore....hip/back.....more so than normal.
Well I'm much worse. Alsmost crying with pain....that is not like me at all.
We called in at Hexham General on the way home. Got a few conflicting opinions. They did an x ray.......doc came and said "I think it s arthritis" NEVER!!!!!!!!!!! silly man
His suggestion was to see GP on Tues or asap and find out what was happening with my back.
Nurse suggested I ring the orthos secretary and try to get an appointment to see him.
Someone else said ....when I go for acupuncture {think it was another nurse} ask him to refer me back to the back specialist
Totally confused now.....anyway I'm home....thats a start.
Love
Hileena

I went to the lake district and had such a wonderful time there, but I was young and healthy then. I do hope you enjoyed yourself even with the pain your in at the moment.

    Hi,
I normally enjoy the Lakes....even with all the rain you get  but not this time......I could barely move and Sat was OH birthday so felt quite guilty....felt as if I was making it miserable for him.

    Morning Hileena

Welcome home, I am sorry that arthur made your holiday difficult.
Happy Birthday to your OH and I am sure just being away made his birthday special.
I hope you can get intouch with someone tomorrow and get some strong pain relief and some useful advice.

In the meantime, try to take things easy and rest.
Take care and good luck tomorrow

Well Hileena I'm glad you had a nice hols but sorry it has aggrivated your back (lots of walking)? You can't visit The Lakes without taking in the fresh air and beautiful views.
Sorry but I did laugh about the Doc suggesting it was arthritis! I hope lots of rest and pain killers helps now you are home.

Don't you just hate the fact that we can't enjoy the great outdoors without payback :evil
Sorry to hear that arthur had spoilt your trip hun..
Hope things ease for you. It's nice in Hexham, well, not that I've visited the hospital, lol.. We sometimes stop off there on our way too or from Keilder..

please look after yourself, let us know how you go on.
As for that doc saying he thinks it's arthritis, sheer genius..

    Hi,
Aren't docs geniuses :lol::lol: How long do they train to be able to make diagnosis like that....especially since thats where I had my THR dont and was diagnosed originally with arthur
I had the "paddymobile" with me so used that for outdoors but not alot this time
I just have to figure out who to get in touch with first tomorrow....I actually have an acupuncture appt at 12 noon so will ask him. I'll ring GP and make and appt.....goodness knows when he'll see me, will ring the orthos secretary and see if i can get an appt to see him and finally a private one.....osteopath that i used to go to before my THR......will see what he says]
Thanks for all your kind comments
    Love

Is tomorrow going to involve lots of pocket duties? If so I'll bring a large flask of tetleys & jammy dodgers for me & whoever wants to share & some spearmint chews for Ra.. They keep him quiet, well, until he gets stoned on them.. Lol
