Hi and a big thankyou to SW, Julie, Ron, Rose, Sue, Amanda, Ironic, Toni, Val, Coco, DD, Joan, Linda , and Suszy.
I am sorry I didnt get on yesterday, the consultants was really lovely, but they hadnt got my back scan  it was suppose to be there from the other NHS trust....so he said he isnt messing about any longer and will get me another MRI scan there...in two weeks.
He then just sat and listened to everything I had to say, and he was brilliant, he explained about back surgery, and told me the highs and lows of it.
So I have to go back in around 2 weeks, but guess what he is retiring at the end of this month.
He was so nice , and I wished him a good retirement....gosh I wished he was staying on
So there you go not much nearer...I really need an holiday...Love

Hi Barbera..
It is lovely to hear when someone gets on well with the consultant.. sounds like he is very good at his job..
What a shame he is retiring, i hope the next person is just as understanding and thorough..
Hopefully then in 2 weeks you may know a bit more.. be ready to jump in your pocket again..xxTracyxx

Oh bl**dy hell, Barbara, I am glad to hear he was pleasant and understanding but honestly, you do have to wonder if some of these trusts could organise a party in a brewery - or the medical equivalent thereof. What a waste of your time (and anxiety and stress). Je suis peeved. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

HI tracy and DD
All I need to know , if I have both my hips replaced, will I be any better off, because of my back...DD like you say, they are not fit to be running these trust, the consultant said we always have this trouble when another trust is involved.
But there you go, he made up for some of the other consultants I have come across.
Thankyou again.Love

Ah, the old crystal ball dilemma. Wouldn't life be more straightforward sometimes if we could see one or two years ahead? Actually, thinking about it, I am glad we cannot. :???:
It is one helluva decision that you have to make and the fact that some people are pharting about instead of doing their jobs to help you come to that decision is really hacking me off. God knows what it's doing to you. Strewth Barbara, shall we head for the den a day early? I haven't seen cherry's name for a while - what's the betting she's been there all this time? DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
DD i have lots of stash here ....see you later in the den...wonder if anyone else wants to join us..Love
Barbara0 -
They're not allowed. We need some special Barbara and DD time.
I'm off to work now, I'll be back later.

You two are going round in circles?? You've no idea what you're doing to my head.
Barbara, I'm glad for the good bits. I wish there weren't any bad bits but that's cloud cuckoo land. Hope they get you sorted soon.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi Barbara,
Glad that the Dr you saw was sympathetic and pro-active. So frustrating that he is so near retirement though. Hopefully he will have written up your notes so at least if you don’t see him again the replacement will have a better idea as what has been going on.
Hugs,
I x0 -
