Hello, after a year of chronic pain I have been told I have cervical spondylosis. I am currently off sick and have been for a month. I have a specialist appointment soon. This seems one of the few places with an active community. I think I am going to have to resign from my job as it is so physical. Hello, hope I will make some friends here.

    Hi Lola

Love your user name especially as my 3 year old grandaughter is called Lola. Welcome to the forum, you are right this is an active forum and many of us stay, weeks, months and years as it is such a great, friendly, helpful little community we have here. It can get addictive, just a warning!

I am sorry to read that you have CS and have been off work for a month. It sucks at times, doesn't it? We all help, support each other as best we can and it really does help to be able to chat with people in a similar situation as oneself. It is also a place to have a rant, knowing that we will understand whereas people who do not suffer with arthritis, often have no idea of what to say/say things that are unhelpful and upsetting.

Do join us on the different zones and make yourself at home, look foward to seeing you posting more,

    Elna x

    Hi Lola

I joined the Forum last week and have found the community so supportive and friendly from the off! I came across the forum by accident through an internet search. I am sure if there are other people with your condition on the forum they will contact you. Meanwhile, all the best.

(A good piece of advice I have noted from forum members is before you go to an appointment - write down all your questions and queries so you dont forget to ask some in the flow of the appointment - you can then check at the end before you leave!)
