Hi my name is Valerie, I was told only yesterday that I have osteoarthritis, I did expect it as the pain was bad for a long while but I go to work every day and try to get out and about as much as I can. I am a pretty positive person I hope that I can keep my sense of humour too, I was so delighted to see this forum because it's nice to know other people's stories and how they cope and share ideas... will be back soon. :P

    Welcome to the forum Valerie..
    It's a great place for advice, help, support etc.. The living with section is brilliant for all of that. There is also a lighter hearted section, chit chat. Great for a bit of a laugh etc..

    We are all friendly enough..

    Just join in wherever, I'm sure you'll be made welcome.
