Hi
I really do need pocket duties on Tues {afternoon} I've an appt with an opthalmic consultant.
Some of you may remember....he's the one i said needed a personality transplant  Horrible man :x
This will be the third appt and nothing has done any good. If he suggests the same thing again {steroid nasal spray} I'm going to ask for a 2nd opinion.I'll probably ask anyway.
Any suggestions???? Do I mention it to him?
See the GP? {not the one that originally referred me to him}
PALS???
Help please......and be ready to fight for me if he's his usual self

Love
Hileena

    Hi Hileena
I hope the appointment goes better this time.
I know from personal experience that some Opthalmic procedures are not particularly nice.........and can be worrying of not explained properly!

Let's hope you dont see the same consultant...........but if you do and you dont agree with him, I would ask for a second opinion.

Anyway, I'm booked into your pocket, front row seat xxx

Personality transplant  I'll give him a transplant of a much more physical nature if he tries that again. Definitely with you, Hileena. I'll bring me scalpel just in case
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Hileena
I'll be in the pocket too.
When I was having problems with my 1st Rheumy consultant I approached PALS who were really supportive- ultimately the request for a change of consultant had to come via a letter/request from my GP- you need to be persistent and determined. Hope this appointment is better for you.

Arrogant prat. Not you, him! :) For sure there are those in the medical profession who completely lack interpersonal skills but also know their stuff (in their field that is, well, we hope they do). I have no bright ideas my lovely but please count me in. DD
