Hello,
I have just been told I have Osteoarthritis of the Carpometacarpal cmc joint and the Metacarpophalangeal MP joint.
Can you recommend a suitable thumb splint please? I really need one that will give me firm support but light enough to be able to do my job. I am a engineer and need reasonable movement. I have tried a cheap one that has helped a bit.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Thanks for getting in touch with us. It wouldn't really be appropriate for us to recommend a thumb splint for you as this kind of advice would be much better coming from a professional such as a physio or occupational therapist - your GP can refer you. There's more info on splints that you can read here:

Best wishes
