Hi everyone. Just wondered if any of you use Pernaton and, if so, what success you have had with it. As I had recently read an article about it, I decided to buy some yesterday and, so far, so good! Am wondering if I have, at last, found something which helps to ease the non-stop OA back pain which I suffer from. As there are so many meds I can't take because of the dreadul side effects I get, anything else I can find which might just help is very welcome.

Hope you are all having as good a day as possible.

Beryl.

    Hi Beryl,
I think we saw the same advert
    I'm trying it as well.
My back is sore but my left hip {which hasnt been replaced is giving wway now as well} so when I saw this I thought i would try it.

I find it good. Its not magic....nothing is but it eases the pain and if I can come off some meds I would rather use that.

I havent come off anything yet but plan to try and come off.

I'm on my 2nd tube now.

    Love

Hello Beryl, I have heard of this (and read about it too) but not tried it because I also have an auto-immmune arthritis and (to my mind) that factor 'unsettles' my playing field. If it helps you (and doesn't harm) then surely that is a good thing and I hope it continues to be the case. DD

Ho Beryl, how's the pernaton going? I have heard of this but not used it because of the PsA. Is it still helping you? DD

Hello. I use the cream. It's a counter irritant so doesn't remove the pain but definately helps. I've also used the bath soak. I took the supplements about four years ago and only stopped due to price. I have pretty aggressive RA so any soothing of joints is much appreaciated. I'd certainly suggest giving it a go.

Hi everyone and thanks for your comments. Am still using the Pernaton but as it is a little on the pricey side (well, it is for me!), am tending to use it before I go out anywhere and trying to make do with the others - Voltarol and Capsaicin whilst I am at home. I do find the Pernaton helps the most. As you say, it doesn't take the pain away totally (if it did that none of us would be complaining about pain), but I find it does help and makes the pain a little more bearable.

Did look on some websites and have found it at a lower price than in my local pharmacy, but when you add on p&p there really isn't an awful lot of difference, unless you order a fairly large quantity for which some companies will give free p& p.

Am not sure whether my GP can prescribe it for me or not but will ask her when I next visit her. The pharmacist seemed to think that it couldn't be prescribed - am not sure why?

Hope some of you are also finding it of help. Anything which eases the pain just a little is very welcome.

    Hi Beryl
Let me know if you get it prescribed. I cant use volterol because it clashes with the anti inflammatories I take......it would make it an overdose.
    Never tried capsicum
I've been using the pernaton the same length of time as you
    Saw the same advert
    I think its good {if pricey}
