Hi all:-)
I just want to post this in case any newbies with canes and crutches don't know.
In this cold weather walking with crutches is hard as the rubber at the end of them easily slips on the icy pavements.
I have bought 'Ice cane attachments' and they are great!!
However I am a little puzzled that I never seem to see anyone else with them?
Haha, I have become like a Jesus preacher about them and asking people I meet on the street with crutches or with canes if they have heard the good news!?*LOL*
But they DO work wonders and I find it so smart that you can flip the metal spiky attachment up along the crutches/cane when indoors, so you don't ruin the floors.
I am not sure if linking is allowed in this case? I don't want to promote any particular company - just to show what they look like. Moderator can delete link if it is not okay.

I hope this will be helpful to someone out there, just as it has been for me:-)

Nice thinking Petitesse, they are worth evangelising about. I've had mine for a couple of years now (and not been 'blessed' with the weather to use them!) They are a permanent fixture on my car crutches.
How's things with you? I hope all is as good as it can be. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
What a kind thought, petitesse! I know where you're coming from re preaching the gospel. Someties we find a simple but hugely effective aid and we do want to tell the world about it. Good for you! And I hope you're keeping as well as possible. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
