Hi
Have you started any new medication that's photosensitive?
I forgot I was on methotrexate and sat out for an hour suntan lotion everywhere except for my legs and had a nasty red itchy rash for weeks which has only just improved after about 4 weeks
It could be all the building work you are having done
Hope it easies soon

It could be an allergy to something in the renovation work but, as Maria says, if you're on methotrexate I'd look no further. We're not supposed to sit in the sun, especially hot, midday sun. I'm OK for about 20 mins if it's not too strong but after that I must be in the shade. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
