has anyone heard of a hot wax treatment for pain relief in the hands?

if not does anyone use anything for their hand pain that helps?

Hi Nige.
I have had a couple of goes at the wax treatment. It's bliss while the hands are in the wax and a little while afterwards too.. You can buy the machines too. Not sure about price as I haven't bought one as I would need a bath sized one for all of my joints

I also do excersises with my fingers to keep em supple..
Eg.. touching the end of each finger with my thumb.. And repeating.

I had this treatment in hospital many years ago. As Tony says, it's soothing but quite short-lived in the relief it gives, as are most treatments. I know one or two on here have tried it. I honestly don't know whether or not you might get the same benefit from just bathing them, alternately, in hot then cold water. I believe this increases the circulation which can help.

The exercises Tony mentioned are good as they keep all joints moving not just the ones we use most in daily life.
