    Thank you. It was my OH's birthday in the week so we had a meal to celebrate yesterday as he works Sunday. Celebrating today by having a couple of gardeners in tidying up my very neglected garden.
    He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    Just need the sun to return, and then get someone in to do some planting. We have a gardener who comes into our school so I may have a word with him. Need some fast growing, ground covering and weed suppressing plants/shrubs.

I hope your now empty garden made you smile this morning - a blank canvas for you to enjoy filling, what a wonderful idea - a fresh start for your fresh start and you and the garden can grow new shoots together. You are a real star Slosh, so supportive and kind whilst dealing with some of the toughest of times. I hope this next year is much easier and kinder to you (((())))

    Happy birthday Slosh and don't get too sloshed.

    It must be lovely to have the garden all tidied and I hope you find someone reliable to do the planting. I used to love gardening and miss it very much.
