As I look out at another grey wet day, and put on another layer to keep warm, I remind myself of two things. The start of the school holidays often causes a spell of bad weather, and my sister in Scotland forwarded a recent weather forecast for her area.... of snow and frost! Snow on the hilltops isn't exceptional but frost in the glens is not good especially as they've had no summer yet where she is.

    I have a Scottish grandson and I'm aware that Scottish schools break up earlier for summer hols and will soon be going back for the Christmas term. Bearing in mind your theory of cause and effect, I suspect we need look no further for the cause of the snow and frost.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
