It has been confirmed that Cilla Black has died aged 72 at her Spanish home.

    What terribly sad news! Cilla always seemed so well and full of life, her Liverpudlian sense of humour always shining through to cheer people up wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by her devoted family and friends, not to mention her millions of fans.

    I will always remember playing her record of "Anyone Who Had A Heart" over and over again when I was a student in London in the "Swinging 60's." Now whenever I hear that song, it takes me right back to those fantastic times.

    RIP Cilla Black- You brought so much fun and music into the world.

    its very sad ..I remember buying anyone who had a heart..spent my teens listening to the Mersey sounds...like you say she was always full of life..RIP
