Are you really an ophiuchus?

The astronomical zodiac actually contains 13 constellations – the 12 that we’re familiar with plus another one, called Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus was deliberately left out of the original zodiac, over 2000 years ago, even though the Sun clearly passes in front of it after passing in front of Scorpio and before reaching Sagittarius.

Plus, as a consequence of a wobble in the earth's rotation over the last two thousand years, the dates at which the Sun appears to move in front of each background constellation of stars has altered by a few days so many people who thought they be;longed to one star sign actually belong to another. So, if you thought you were a classic virgo, you might have to think again.

I informed no.1 son last night that he was now officially an ophiuchus, not a saggitarius. “Great” he replied, “I've always wanted to be one of those :lol: ”
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    According to this I'm Aquarius rather than Pisces. I'll do some research about the supposed characteristics of an Aquarian then decide which appeals more :wink: DD

    That's easy DD,Aquarians like real ale even more than Pisceans do (I happen to be an Aquarian,but that is pure coincidence........... :D ).

    I've heard about this before but thought it was something to do with the Julian and Gregorian calendars and is now considered a bit outdated.
    according to this I've been demoted to Aquarius from Pisces. :cry:
