Sore thumbs 4 year old child

Hi I have just noticed that my daughter who's 4 has really sore thumb and fingers. She does suck her thumb still which I'm trying to get her to stop. But it looks so bad and so swollen. I asked why are her other fingers red and sore. She said they are her thinking fingers that she chews on. Also she bites her nails too. She isn't complaining of any sort of pain. And her other hand don't look as bad but I can feel small dots in each finger tip. (Not fingernails but finger pad side). I'm praying she hasn't got some sort of arthritis brewing there as she does have juvenile uveitis arthritis. But hasn't had any flares ups in two years since being on meth injection? Will be taking her to doctors ASAP.
