Cracking joints

I wonder if anyone can help me,I have RA,and oa I'm on 20 mgs of methotrexate,200mgshydroxocoloquine and sulfazalasine 4tablets a day, the problem I'm having is with my lower joints that keep making a cracking noise does anyone know what causes this

My joints crack all the time, especially my knees and ankles. it's either due to excess joint damage or possibly (I read somewhere) nitrogen in the joints which 'pops' - that's what makes the noise when you crack you knuckles). I don't think it's anything particularly worrisome or even, necessarily, to do with arthritis but why not mention it to your GP or rheumatologist next time you see one of them?If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I've had popping knees my entire life. You can hear them across a room! Ankles have joined in the cracking and popping in the past few years. I think it's nothing to worry about. (I have PsA)0
