It's incredible how fast the cold affects my pain levels. I've not been *too* bad the past 2 days (by that I mean not crying with pain) but today I had to go and do some last minute shopping. Within minutes of being out my pain was through the roof! Serves me right for going shopping 2 days before Christmas, and alone so no one to help me carry the bags, but I couldn't bring anyone as I was getting stocking fillers for them! Now I'm home and boy am I suffering (carrying spuds and wine, as well as other bags didn't help). So tonight I will be popping pills like Quality Street, and will be sellotaping hot water bottles to my body (microwave blew up so no wheat bags for me). Tomorrow I will be staying safely indoors until the village carol service at 7.30pm, and then the door will be locked until Boxing Day!

Theres nothing worse than the winter cold weather to affect your joints. A couple of years ago my knee locked up when it was snowing/very cold, and that was absolute agony.
Just remember your not the only one who suffers in winter :frozen:"Stoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast"0 -
I'm sorry about this, Ouch. The cold doesn't bother me too much. Humidity is another matter.
I can't traipse round shops anymore with or without heavy bags. Most of my presents come from online sources and Sainbuy kindly delivered most of my food last Tuesday. I just had a few salad bits to get today. Plan ahead. It really helps. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
