"He was so kind to British motorsport prodigy Billy Monger who has now opened up on how Lauda took the time to speak to him at Silverstone not long after he had the lower part of both of his legs amputated following a high-speed crash at Donington in 2017.
"I’m so sad to hear about his passing and my condolences go out to his family," Monger told BBC Breakfast.
"Luckily I had the opportunity to meet Niki at the British Grand Prix back in 2017, so only a few months after I had my crash."
Such a kind and generous man. R.I.P. Niki."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein
