Like mother like daughter: Lynsey and Mia’s story with juvenile idiopathic arthritis

When Lynsey’s daughter Mia was diagnosed with the same condition she has, polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), she became determined to raise awareness. She wants to make sure Mia gets the support she needs to achieve her dreams, and to help other parents who have children with arthritis.

    Oooh that was touching Brynmor.

What Lynsey has been through should make sure Mia gets the help she needs all the way through her life. Mia is just a normal adorable little girl😍and the same as mine were when they were little hating having her hair done😀

Thanks to Lynsey for sharing their story.

Thank you Lynsey & Mia for sharing your story. I can’t tell you how much this struck a cord with me.

My daughter is now the age I was when I was diagnosed ( aged 2) with JIA, or JCA as it was back then.

It is always on my mind if she will develop arthritis , it’s a constant worry.

Thank you once more for sharing 😘
