Hello, I am Ann and have newly been diagnosed with osteoarthritis; my right knee has been causing me a great deal of pain during the last 4 years and although several x ray's came back as 'wear and tear' I was never actually told what this could develop into. The pain comes and goes and if I do too much walking and carrying of even say shopping then the pain starts and a few times has given way.

So very glad to have found the group and all of you. Have a lovely day everyone. Ann x

Hi @annmchugh2010 glad you have found us 😃

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis and your knee is one of the most common parts of the body to get it!

You may find this a useful link to a page on our website which explains all about the subject:

There's some great information on how it might affect you plus how to cope with pain, exercise and other related problems.

Do join in across the Community, ask questions, give support or just call in for a chat and to say how you are getting on.

    Best wishes
