Normal inflammatory markers
Hi everyone, is it possible to have normal markers and still have inflammatory arthritis. I am always very stiff especially in the morning or after a car ride etc. I have suffered for years with osteoarthritis ( knee replacement) 10 yrs ago. Also had flare ups of swollen knuckles and toes.
When I amprescribed Naproxen I feel so much better ,then when I stop within 48hrs
pain and stiffness returns.
Gp prescribes Naproxen but only short term. I feel like I need something more permanent

Morning, @Avey50 and welcome to the community. Have you had a referral to a specialist? As you will read in the forum, there are many different experiences on the question of the presence (or absence) of inflammatory markers. You may find it helpful to talk to our helpline team on 0800 5200 520.
