I've had several cats who woke us up licking the condensation off the inside of our single glazed windows!

Mine like to help by sitting on my lap, or sneaking round the back of the loo while you're using it (can't tell you how off-putting that is! 😂)

@Lilymary Lynx, one of our three cats, will drink from anything other than her water bowl.😀
This includes licking the kitchen tap to encourage the drips to come out, rusty containers of dirty water in the garden, the new pond (not fallen in yet) and the water-retaining lid of fence paint I had left out last week.

My puss prefers 'illegal water' too
but adores her water fountain now.😻

I had one who preferred to drink from the toilet bowl! 😱🤢😹 There is method in their madness though - cats won't drink from a water bowl near where they eat. In the wild, if eating meat by a watering hole, the water could become contaminated, so they always prefer to drink further away. We keep a bowl of water no the landing (they're fed in the kitchen) and that seems to work. Cat sitters put a bowl of water by their food and it's always untouched. Mind you, nothing beats a good puddle....

My girl drinks from the fish pond, I expect that it is quite tasty as it is water with a hint of goldfish! 😁

Good morning 😀
I sit around the house all day
I do not go to work
I wait until my humans sleep
And then I go berserk.
