New rheumatoid diagnosis

Hello, I am newly diagnosed this week with RA and start methotrexate on Friday. I woke up 5 weeks ago with a hand that wouldn't work and that was it - at first it was thought to be tendonitis but blood tests and a very helpful rheumatologist soon showed what it was. I'm struggling a bit; although I know the meds will help, it is all a bit new and uncertain. Glad to find this community :-)

I see that have recently been given a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis, with Methotrexate treatment to start on Friday.
