Hi.

I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis 5 years ago when I was 34. I’ve tried nearly all the biologics and none have worked for me long term. My consultant is recommending infusions next. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience of these?

With love,

laura xx

    Hi @Cornishbelle (Laura),

Welcome to the versus arthritis forum.

You suffer with Psoriatic arthritis, none of the biologics offered to date have been successful in the long term. The latest proposal is to try an infusion so you’d like some input from any forum members who have gone down this path.

If you search for ‘infusions’ or ‘Psoriatic infusions’ in the forum you’ll find a number of past discussions which include people’s experience with infusions. Here are a couple:

In addition, I’m sure that there will be plenty of forum members who can offer their advice.

I suggest that you join in on as many relevant forum discussions as you feel appropriate with a view to gaining as much feedback as possible.

    I hope this is useful.

    Best Wishes
