Withdrawal symptoms

Hello

I wondered if anyone had experience of withdrawal symptoms coming off Imraldi and/or methotrexate.

If you put withdrawal into the search at the top of this page (the black bit on the right) all the withdrawal posts seem to be about opioids or prednisone.

There is an old discussion (about 2008) where someone says they feel the need for their MTX about 6 hours before it's due....

I don't recall anyone mentioning this though, as @frogmorton says. it's common with opioids.

I've never taken imraldi but have one one or two occasions, had to stop my methotrexate before operations and the only effect was a gradual worsening of the RA symptoms.

I believe some people get some intestinal issues when they stop taking methotrexate. There appear to be no issues with stopping adalimumab (Imraldi).

As @stickywicket says, the usual outcome is a return of symptoms that taking the drugs was there to help manage.
