Short term you could try hand exercise putty - I was give it by an occupational therapist to try to exercise my hands when - like you - I couldn't close them. I was also given exercises where I had to touch my thumb tip to each finger tip in turn and repeat and repeat etc.

I also found soaking my hands in warm water - the hotter I could stand the better.

It all helped me to a degree but ultimately the only thing that helped longer were regular steroid injections before I was then put on biologics.
