Just diagnosed with osteoarthritis

Hi there, just diagnosed today with osteoarthritis after having serious neck & shoulder pain. Lots of clicking sounds & apparently also degenerative discs. Feeling a bit down & just wanted to say Hi!

When we were first diagnosed many of us experienced feeling a bit down so don't feel on your own . It takes time to adjust to life with arthritis and amazingly can lead us to new experiences and new friends so I hope now that you have made the first step by making your first post you will join us again soon.

I too was diagnosed last year with it in my spine and neck degenerative disc disease I have oa in most of my body now so I know how your feeling it Does get you down pure frustration on not being able to do what you used to do just wanted to say your not alone and the lovely people here will always help just keep talking and sharing
