    Hello

    I have just finished my loading dose of Cimzia, wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on making the injections less painful?

    I currently take the pens out the fridge at least 30/45 minutes before injecting. But I am finding it very painful!

    Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

      do you have the epi pen style? Mine hurts if the injection liquid is still quite cold! It’s quite a big dose, they are tanks! Have you tried giving it an extra 5 mins or so? That would be my first port of call 😊

      My biosimilar is in an injection pen. During the training the trainer said to use an even pressure on the button and the mechanism would do the rest. I use an alcohol based wipe first on the site I'm going to inject - either the meaty part of my stomach or the front of my thigh - and that tends to chill/numb the area to a degree.
