Just want to know what people think. I had covid twice and 2 injections and booster, missed the last one and now there’s going to be another booster, I never had Rheumatoid arthritis before injections and been told they triggered off arthritis, what do I do for best risk another injections and make things worse, or be safe and have booster, please can I have some answers

What a dilemma! I think there's little doubt now that the vaccine can, in a very few susceptible people, trigger RA or a flare in those who are only recently diagnosed. It seems to be very rare and maybe, if it hadn't, something else would have triggered it.

I come from a position of having RA for several years before DMARDS could be prescribed so I did end up like a corkscrew. I don't recommend it but neither would I want covid. I think you need to ask your rheumatologist for advice on this.

Tricky one this. We have definitely had people here whose RA/Arthritis symptoms appeared for the first time or flared after the vaccine.

I take it you have been pretty well ok when you've had COVID itself?

This has to be a very individual decision. A few people I know aren't going for the 3rd vaccine. I will be.
