Psoriatic arthritis and bi polar affective disorder.
Has anyone else got both of these conditions and finding it difficult to find medication that will not bring on a manic episode?? Any medication suggestions??

Hi @Shaz2020
Welcome to the online community,so glad you are posting and asking questions on Psoriatic Arthritis and bipolar affective disorder. You say you are finding it difficult to get medication that doesnt bring on a manic attack.
It might seem obvious but have you consulted your GP or consultant to discuss Medication?
It would be good to go onto our forums to see what others say about the combination.
Please keep in touch and tell us how you get on.
All the best Christine

I seem to remember there was at least one person on here with bi-polar but I can't remember which type of arthritis they had.
I agree with Mod @Chris_R that your rheumatologist would be a good bet to ask, maybe your GP but also pharmacists are a great source of knowledge on such things. You could also try looking up interactions of your meds on www.drugs.com .
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
