Palindromic Rheumatism 35yrs
Hello 👋🏼
I was finally diagnosed last year with Palindromic Rheumatism, a rare form of arthritis after having symptoms for a good 11-13 years. Sorry if there is already an existing thread for PR!
Would be interested to hear from others with this form of arthritis.
I have managed to control symptoms through my diet and a holistic approach but it’s the most random and sporadic unpredictable thing to live with! Very hard to identify exact triggers. Does anyone else feel the same?
Look forward to being connected :)

Hi @Picasso99
I was initially diagnosed with Palindromic Rheumatism myself:)
That's why I remember this thread:
Hope it helps.

Hi, I’ve just been diagnosed with it - though only after 6 months of 6 months but blood tests show positive rheumatoid factors (positive something anyway - diagnosis is new so I don’t have anything in writing and couldn’t remember it all). It’s like my body is a pinball machine at the moment! I’m very active but area that causes me most pain is shoulders and it’s been triggered by straining them so now I’m nervous about doing anything to put pressure on them. Are shoulders one of your flare-up areas?
