Time waiteth for no man……
Well, it happened, first rheummy appointment, I hardly slept the night before, left home early and ended up in the hosp cafe I was so early! I sat and drank my latte and got called early for another hand scan (I’m 2 on the 0-3 scale), straight into the office, meds sorted and all done in a few mins. I’d sent madam off to the shops to wander and I arrived to ‘oh I thought you’d be another hour or two?’ She was not best pleased!
I waited many years to get some positive action, I have been asking for blood tests for a long long time, turns out I’m zero negative and it was all over in ten mins, anticlimax or what!
it’s a grin, honest!

Airwave, quite a few people are seronegativè which does make diagnosis harder. However, you've now got yours, and your DMARDS (which are you on?) and, with luck, things will improve.
As for a rather miffed wife - I don't think medical science has the answer yet!
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Well done Airwave
all this time being fobbed off🙄
awful really, but well done.
I am also seronegative, but huge swelling and being stuck in position as well as a slight fever etc helped me get diagnosed.
Take care

I’m on 200mg of Hydroxychoroquine Sulphate for the first 60 days. I understand this is a milder less invasive med, I do seem to be falling asleep a lot though? I’m not sure of what will happen after 60 days?
it’s a grin, honest!

I asked a few questions which nobody wanted to answer, maybe it’s up to Versus Arthritis to collate them and answer for the many?
it’s a grin, honest!
