Thinking and doing positive stuff
I am recently diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and AS. Which was a shock but explained a lot of the difficulties I’ve had over a number of years
As part of getting moving I have started swimming and in the last couple of weeks I’ve started wild swimming in the Lake District.
I’m very careful to ensure I get as warm as possible and rest when I get home. Amongst all the stuff I can no longer do, I’m glad I have found something I can do and enjoy.

Hi @Jenlister and welcome to the online community,
What an interesting and positive post - thank you! I'm sure you'll feel at home on the forum where our members give each other support and encouragement. It is so important to find activities that we can enjoy and that challenge us, and it's great that wild swimming does that for you.

I'm also posting a link about the Let's Move online exercises - they take just 30 minutes and they are proving really popular for people who want to keep mobile and build up their strength.
Do let us know how you're getting on,
