Pregnancy medication

I am 6 months pregnant and stopped taking all RA meds when I found out at 2 weeks. At 12 weeks I was put on aspirin as I was told that RA can make my blood thicker. The consultant wants me to start taking additional blood thinning injections at 28 weeks. I just wondered if others with RA had been asked to do the same.

I have been flare up free all pregnancy and for a few years previously (not sure if that makes a difference)
