Nefopam

in Living with arthritis

Hi. Anyone been prescribed nefopam, I was prescribed it yesterday, since then all I've done is shiver and feel sick. Ive taken anti sickness meds to ease. Not eaten since yesterday morning. The nefopam hasnt helped with the flare up ,i thought it might ease the pain, im on blood thinners so not left with many choices. I'm tired and in pain. Don't know what to do next.

The gp yesterday asked me if I had any ideas what would help for my pain. Worrying! I politely said I don't know I'm not a health care provider.

    Hi @spidergirl

    I had nefopam for a couple of years for a shoulder injury and it worked well for me. What I would suggest though is to read the leaflet inside the pack about side effects and re if any match yours. Mind you, a phone call to your GP or pharmacist would also help, advise and put your mind at rest.

    I will talk to pharmacy as gp is impossible at moment.
