Home made aids
I Have hip, knee, and spine Osteoarthritis and have bought several grab sticks for different rooms in the house while they were on special at the hardware store for 8 dollars each, they have come in very handy as I find it hard to bend, I also bought a rollator for when I eventually have surgery.
Has anyone made aids themselves for helping with dressing?
I see there a a few hints on youtube for making aids

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

When my arthritis got bad my husband purchased a 3d printer and made bottle openers, dressing sticks, shoe horns, pick up sticks, walking stick stands etc. So if you know anyone that has one they might help. He does also use it for other stuff. It wasn't cheap to buy and he is a gadget geek but can now make anything I need as I need it

Thank you Trish9556 for your interesting post, your husband sounds like a very handy husband to have, and to have made all those things for you I have made a couple of gadgets 1, out of a plastick covered wire coat hanger, pulled to shape longways to make a clothes pull up thingy and 2, I bought a couple of small plastick wood clamps with a long string attached to both, so that I can clamp them on to long pants to pull them up from the floor.
