Iโm new here, I was diagnosed with Oa a couple years ago. I recently had a injury to my knee and the Consultant feels the OA is getting worse. I know I need to keep active but I a little worried about increasing the pain. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi Dawn, welcome to the online community - it's lovely to have you here! Sorry to hear that you're concerned about increasing your pain and I have attached a couple of links below which may be worth a read. Have you got a physiotherapist? If not, it may be worth asking your doctor for a referral as they can help you create an exercise plan based on your wants/needs. I hope things improve for you.

Hi @DMI07 . Water resistant exercise are good. There are good water resistance aids online which you can take to a swimming pool.

Hi @DMI07 nice to meet you.
It is scary exercising because it does cause discomfort at first. It's best to build up steadily not overdo it. Exercise is the best thing we can do apart from weight management to help ourselves, but the thought of starting it is really a bit scary I understand.
Take a look at the exercises the moderator has posted but start steadily that would be my advice.
