Hi there, I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on a new tablet that has an easy to pull out lead. I'm having trouble with my hands and arms. With best wishes from coralyn

    Hello @coralyn

Welcome to the forum, its great to have you here with us.

I don't know much about them, but maybe have a look at devices that have wireless charging?

    Hi @coralyn

I use a surface with a detachable keyboard and that has a cable that just sits on top of a slot in the side - so easy for my hands.

My husband also purchased me some plug pullers - plastic strips with holes in that fit over the mains plugs and make pulling those out so easy!

I use a kindle which is quite easy to plug in and a phone that uses wireless charging :)

    good luck

  • Hi @coralyn

Thank you for posting on the Online Community. Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your hands and arms. Sounds difficult for you. The suggestions given by others on the forum sound really good.

You may find it helpful to ask your GP to refer you to see a hand therapist to help with gentle exercises for your hands.

We have lots of information around hand pain and also there is an organisation called Living Made Easy who supply various aids and adaptations for the home and for personal use that may have some options to help.

Hope find something that is helpful for you.

    Best wishes

    Jane
