Farmer with AS
hi, I’m a farmer with AS and I’ve been told there putting me on adalimumbab. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been in this situation and if so what did the doctors say?

hi @pinkfairyhere , first of all, welcome to the online community! It's great to have you here.
Every person is different, and what works for one may not work for another; however, I do know that biologics have worked wonders for many many people (including myself). I will attach a wee link on adalimumab, which goes over the basic information about the drug. Hopefully, more people who have experience with adalimumab specifically will come forward to offer their advice/support.

Are you concerned about hygiene the extra risks of being maybe around livestock???
We did have a lovely member years ago who was taking DMARDs (she even had a central line in at one point for medication). She had more of a smallholding with sheep horses ducks multiple rescue small animals too.
Her name was @skezier but she hasn't posted in many years.
Hopefully your consultant will talk to you about any risks and you can mitigate them.
Best of luck
Toni x
