Spray tan advice
hello, I’m due to go abroad in July, I know I cannot go on a sunbed due to my medication (25mg methotrexate injected weekly) but would I be able to have a spray tan? I’m so pale and obviously I will be staying out of the sun, just want to look a bit healthy even if it is fake lol, many thanks

Hi @ali_1976
Thanks for posting, this sounds like a sensible choice as you are already aware of the risks of sunbathing on this medication. To be certain it might be worth chatting to the pharmacy.
Have a great holiday, and keep us posted

Hi @ali_1976
Thanks for your post to the Helpline.
I've pasted links to Conditions (where you can look up the arthritis condition you are affected by) and our Drugs information. We don't have specific information about using spray tan instead of sun exposure. You might want to mention it to the Rheumatology Nurse, but I can totally appreciate the sense behind your idea. I hope you will have a lovely holiday in July.
