Moving on, more exercises and new aches,

Hi. I’m now one month into my new hip, and think I’m doing pretty well. I saw the hospital physio last week who was pleased with my progress which was great to hear. I’ve stepped up the excercise routine to including some of the strengthening exercises, ones where you stand on your operated leg and are obviously putting your body weight through that leg. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous of doing these at first, but did them with the physio which reassured me. Some of the new stretches are done in the same way and also using the stretchy elastic band to get some resistance. Boy do I feel the stretch!! I’m wondering if I should use some ice or heat afterwards? I’m currently only taking 2 lots of 2 paracetamol. Ant thoughts?

    Hi, ice or heat is always good as a soother, maybe your physio could give you some guidance
