Hi all,

I am 27 got diagnosed with RA 2.5 years ago with no family history, it is tough to handle daily activities with pain

I am on HCQS, Sazo and MTX

I have swelling, pain and stiffness on my wrist since a month and had lot of pain on shoulder, ankle, elbow

What are other ways other than taking medication towards healing and living happy life alone

    Welcome @ItsmeSakshi to the community

We are glad you found us, we are here to support anyone affected by living with arthritis with information and tips on all sorts of conditions. It is tough trying to handle daily activities whilst coping with pain and many of our members have shared their tips and experiences. So I hope you will look round the forum, join in with the conversations and share some of your ideas.

Meanwhile I attach some information links which I hope you will find helpful

RA really said, “Surprise! You’re 27 and feel 87 now.” But seriously, you're not alone in this.

Hi @ItsmeSakshi some of us have tried eating better Versus Arthritis talks about the mediterranean diet. I personally like to eat a varied diet for my gut health (30 different fruits veg nuts and seeds a week) which helps inflammation and our immune systems too.

Never underestimate exercise though Poppyjane is right it helps me a lot. At bad times I just cut back a bit, but I always do something even if just range of movement exercises.

I do hope you are feeling a bit better.
