RA can cause fatigue. Dizziness can be a symptom of fatigue or RA, so, yes, Id say it was fairly common

  • Welcome to hell. Fatigue is chronic. Look at other ways to heal and be careful of the drugs they put you on.

Hi @Mojo12 Sorry to hear your recent diagnosis.

Yes inflammatory arthritises do indeed make you utterly exhausted. I tend to have a slight temperature when I am flaring and can hardly stay awake. Hopefully you'll see a rheumatologist soon and put together a plan to get things under control.

I started with this in 2008 and was very fearful of my future, visualising myself a wheelchair user within months, letting down my husband and an embarrassment to my children.

Most of that hasn't come true luckily I didn't let my husband down, am still pretty well on my feet and only embarrassed the children as much as any parent does.

Keep posting we'll help if we can.

    Toni x

    Hi @Mojo12 ,

Other members may be able to share their experiences with you about whether you can work while on methotrexate, but meanwhile, here’s a response from our Helpline Team to another recent post asking the same question. I hope you find it useful:
