Travelling with temperature sensitive injections
Hi all
I’m due to travel to Australia for 10 weeks for the Ashes test matches. I’ll need to carry at least 5 Cimzia injections with me. Does anyone have experience of the best way to do this particularly for the 28 hour journey and internal flights? I’ve got one 60 hour ‘flask’ but it only carries one injection and 5 of them would take up most of my hand luggage. I do have fridges in my accommodations
Thanks in advance

Hello @SarahN and welcome to the online community,
Australia for ten weeks for the Ashes - how exciting! We’ve had a few of our members asking similar questions about travelling with temperature controlled injections. I did a quick search of recent posts and this one looks like it might be helpful:

Thank you, one option there that I wasn’t aware of so will have a look at that

Following up on this, the LifeinaBox portable fridge is only big enough to carry 2 Cimzia pens. They recommend the iCool MediCube Ultra to give 36 hours between 2 and 8 degrees. Also to carry a ziplock bag on top of the Cimzia to add ice to extend life for a few hours
